Nail art tape, green and gold 2

Hello everybody! A couple of days ago I made my first nail art tape design ever! Since that time I'm infected with the striping tape virus haha! I love making designs with it cause it looks so professional! The products that I used will be listed below. If you want to know how to make this design than please, click on read more!

Step 1: Base coat: Oke, first thing's first. Apply a base coat. This will prevent your nails from turning yellow.

Step 2: Main coloar: This colour is the same colour as the previous tutorial, a pretty swamp green.

Step 3.1: The tape: Before you start working with the tape, it is very important that the main colour is dry! If not you will pull the main colour off your nails when removing the tape. The first tape pieces I've put on my nails had the shape of a cross. It doesn't matter how you start putting the tape pieces on your nails. I usually start with the cross so I know that the cross needs to come off last.

Step 3.2: The tape: The next tape piece you put on your nails is again a cross, but not straight this time. You will get this pretty patern. But we are not done yet!

Step 3.3: The tape: As you may see, you now have 8 little pointy blocks. In every block you need to put another tape piece in the middle. This is quite precise because it is really tiny. But the end result will be beautiful! Now remember the order of the tape pieces. Because the tape you put on your nails last, need to come off first.

Step 4: Top colour: For the top colour I decided to do something a little bit different and that is mixing two colours. I grabbed a light grey colour and polished this all over the nail and than I quickly took the gold colour and polished this over the still wet light grey colour and mixed this with the nail polish brush.

Step 5: Removing the tape: After you polished the top colour on your nail you need to be quick! Make sure that it is still wet and start removing the tape. The last tape piece you put on your nail earlier needs to come off first. With all those tape pieces it is easy to forget the order. I have a tip for that. Before putting the tape on your nail you need to make an order, and write this down on a piece of paper by means of drawings. That really helps.

Step 6: Top coat: This will make sure that you can enjoy your nail art for a long time.
