Favorites October Nail Polish

You may have a lot of nail polish but there are always a couple of them you keep getting back to. Well same here! For me a good nail polish is a polish that provides great coverage. Than the product is already on number one. But also if the colours make me happy and if I can make a lot of different nail art designs with them. Here are the nail polishes that do that for me.

Halloween nail art

Hello everyone! This month is all about halloween, therefore I decided to make a bat tutorial. I think I'll make another halloween tutorial later on this week. This was the first time I ever made a bat. It is quite tricky, but if you follow these steps carefully it must turn out fine. You do need to take some time for doing this, no rush. I used my practising finger for this tutorial that I got a few days ago. The other products will be listed below. Let's go!

What I've bought: Glitter powder and a practice finger

Hello everyone! I just came home because I was at the stores and found these little cute nail art glitters! I've seen this product before in the store but I was constantly doubting whether I should buy it or not. But this time I bought it. For all the dutchies out here, you can find the glitters in the D.I.O. store. I've opened one jar, but right away I had glitters all over my table, so you do need to be carefull opening it. The glitters itself are really tiny and thin so it must look amazing on your nail art as a finishing touch. I will make a tutorial about it really soon!

Another product I ordered is the practicing finger ( picture above ). Unfortunately I have not received this item yet. When I do, I will finally be able to make really precise nail art designs, without constantly polishing my nails over and over again. So I can't wait for that!

A couple of days ago I posted a story about nail art tape. I still have not received this item as well. So there is a lot of waiting out here haha!

I hope you got a little bit inspired:)

What I've ordered: Nail art tape

Hello everyone! This is going to be a quick blog post. I wanted to talk to you guys about nail art tape. I ordered this yesterday, I have not received it yet. When I do, I will make a tutorial about it. But this striping tape is something you will see a lot in the future, big trend!

Some of you may not know what nail art tape ( striping tape ) is. Let me explain. Nail art tape is really thin tape you can use to make beautiful nail art designs with. Most of the striping tape is 1mm wide. Really thin! But there are also thinner tapes. You can get the tape in all sorts of different colours. There is also tape with little stones on it.

You can use the nail art tape in two ways. You can stick it on a design for the finishing touch. Just like the most left nail on the picture above. Or you can make a design with the tape. If you do this you need to already have nail polish on your nails. Than you shape the tape into a figure you like and  you polish your nails over the tape. Let it dry for a minute and remove the tape. And BAM you have a beautiful figure on your nails.

I am really excited to try this! Unfortunately I did hear that the tape could be really annoying when it comes to finding a beginning point everytime. Just like normal scotch tape.

You can buy the tape on a lot of websites. Just type in nail art tape or nail art striping tape and find something you like:)

That was it! More to follow very soon! Have a fab weekend!

Triangles and Glitter

Hello everyone! How have you been doing? In this tutorial I will tell you how to make these beautiful yet simple nail art. What I've discovered when doing this nail art, is that you want your glitter nail polish to be thin. A bit thicker glitter nail polish is really irritating because it takes a really long time for the thick amount to dry and it's really hard to get a sharp triangle. All the products that have been used for these two nail art designs, will be listed below the page. We will start with the red one.
