You may have a lot of nail polish but there are always a couple of them you keep getting back to. Well same here! For me a good nail polish is a polish that provides great coverage. Than the product is already on number one. But also if the colours make me happy and if I can make a lot of different nail art designs with them. Here are the nail polishes that do that for me.
Top row, left to right: O.P.I. Thanks a windmillion NL H62. The colour is a mix between grey and a green colour. This product gives great coverage and lasts a long time even without a topcoat. The brand itself is just amazing. It is a pricy nail polish. In The Netherlands the price is about 14 euro's. Fun fact about this nail polish colour is that Anouk ( The Netherlands ) at the Eurovision Songcontest this colour wore on stage.
Essence colour & go. 67 Make it golden. This is a beautiful gold glitter nail polish. There are different sizes of glitter pieces in the nail polish. It is a light nail polish which means that if you polish this colour over another colour, you will still see the colour underneath. The price is about 2.50 euro's. ( Used this colour in the triangles tutorial ).
O.P.I. A good man-darin is hard to find NL H47. The colour is a mix between bright red a little bit of orange. Again great coverage, lasts a long time. Other than that I adore this colour. It's a beautiful summer and autumn colour. LOVE IT. The price is about 14 euro's. ( Used this colour in the triangles tutorial ).
Bottom row, left to right: Rimmel 60 seconds. 800 black. This is a typical standard colour that you need to have for nail art. The colour is dark black. It dries within 60 seconds. There is one negative thing about the polish and that is that you need to polish two layers. It is thin nail polish. But other than that, beautiful. The price is about 7 euro's.
CATRICE cosmetics. 340 Run Forest Run! I love the colour green and this polish is a dark green that really reminds you of autumn and winter. This colour gives great coverage. Lasts a long time even without a top coat. I love this one. And the brand is cheap! It is about 3.50 euro's.
Casuelle. ( no name on the polish ). Of this brand there are two very similar bright pink colours. This colour was the darker one. This was the first neon colour I ever bought. I know the summer is over but I still love this colour even if it is October. Gives great coverage. And it is cheap. The price is about 3 euro's.
CATRICE cosmetics. 840 Genius in the bottle. A beautiful gold colour with a blue/green glow. It depends on what position your hand is in because the colour changes when moving your hand. The polish is thin unfortunately you need to polish at least two layers. But whatever, this colour is BEAUTIFUL! The price is about 3.50 euro's.
Maybelline color show by colorama. 130 Winter baby. Ok I am upset with this brand. If you see video's of this colour from Maybelline itself it will look like this colour has great coverage. That you only need to polish one layer on your nails and your done. WRONG. The product they use in the video's is not the product you will buy. Because what you will buy is a polish that is really thin. You need to put multiple layers on your nails. Now you may think, why is it your favorite than? Well the reason it is one of my fave's right now, is that again this is a standard colour you need to have for nail art. Also I have a lot of white nail polishes and this is one of the best. Once all those layers are on your nails it looks stunning. The price is about 5 euro's.
